Runcorn Junior success at Chester Regatta

Junior 16 Double - Hugo Norris in a composite with Agecroft beat Liverpool Victoria in the final by 3 lengths

Womens Junior 15 Double - Annie Rogers and Harriet McLeod won the final beating fellow club members Laura Grieve and Catherine Hunt.

Junior 14 Double - Sam Pierce and George McCormick, won the Plate competition of this event, having rowed through challenging heats, semis and third place finals.

They joined Liam Street and David McLellan, with cox Laura Gardiner in the J14 Quad, to reach the final. Only losing first place by 2 lengths to Kings School Chester.

Womens Junior 13 Double - Alyssia Hannah and Laura Gardiner won, beating opposition Royal Chester easily.

Runcorn RC Womens Junior 13 Double crew, being the youngest winning competitors, being presented with their medals by the Regatta's youngest sponsor. At the same time the oldest winning competitors were presented with their medals by the oldest member of Chester Regatta Committee.

Lucy Burgess won the Womens Junior 16 single, beating Mersey by 3 lengths. Lucy is looking forward to continuing her GB trials

Junior 16 Single - Hugo Norris - won the heat by 1 length and beat Loughborough in the final easily

Womens Junior 15 Single - Annie Rogers beat fellow club member Laura Grieve in the final.

Junior 14 Single - Liam Street secured his first win in this category, beating Royal Chester by 1.75 lengths in his first newly owned boat.

Fellow club member David McLellan won the Plate competition in this category beating Hollingworth Lake by 1 length.
