Gold and Silver at the Coupe de la Jeunesse

The Coupe de la Jeunesse is the Euroean Junior Championships and this year was held at Hazelwinkel in Belgium. Lucy Burgess and her doubles partner Charlotte Cook won two medals.

On Saturday they won gold beating the Italian double by 1.9 seconds with France third.

On Sunday roles were reversed with Italy taking the gold, Lucy and Charlotte the silver and the Netherlands the bronze.

A really great achievement after representing Engand at U23 at the home counties in Inniscarra.
