Safety Rules & Guidelines
Runcorn Rowing Club, its members and visitors have a 'Duty of Care' towards each other and to themselves. It is to ensure that all reasonable care is taken in order that neither actions nor omissions arise that can place any person(s) at RISK. Can all members & visitors therefore ensure they have read the 2011/2012 Safety Rules & Guidelines. PDF version here.


RRC Crest

Car Stickers are for sale for £1. See Stuart Beards if you would like to purchase one. All stickers sold will aid to the fundraising target. RRC Blazer Badges can also be purchased for £20 from Stuart. Please bring your money along at the weekend.


RRC Success

Calling all members – Please email us your success stories, from races to social events of the past. We have over 117 years to look back on as a club so get emailing in your stories to success@runcornrowing.com. The stories will be put online & don’t forget to include some photos.

Boat Damages
Can all members please ensure they are emailing boats@runcornrowing.com when reporting any damages to equipment.


Building Damages

Can all members please ensure they are emailing buildings@runcornrowing.com when reporting any damages to the clubhouse or the surround area.


Safety - Incident Log Book
This is an important means of reviewing and monitoring how good or bad we are at safety. Please make sure you fill it in. Alternatively you can use the British Rowing website to report any incidents. Damian Parkinson is the club Safety Advisor and he can be contacted at safety@runcornrowing.com.


Sponsorship
Please send all your fundraising ideas, big or small to Liz Coady our fundraising officer; sponsorship@runcornrowing.com.

Security
Please ensure you are familiar with the security notice. Stuart Beards is the security advisor and he can be contacted at security@runcornrowing.com. It is reminded that the boathouse should be locked up before you go on the water and that the launches are not left unattended.


Welfare

All children (17 years of age and below) who participate in away events must be accompanied by one of their parents or by an adult nominated by their parents (e.g. another parent) to be in loco parentis. Relevant forms are available from Carol Harte. Secondly, juniors are not allowed to consume alcohol at any time when they in attendance at an away event.
